Hypothesis: Maple food products make the world a better place.
Experiment: Go to Canada (twice). Bring back 2 bottles of maple syrup, 4 boxes of maple cookies and 2 jars of maple butter. Eat all the things. Cook with maple syrup.
Conclusion: Yes, indeed, maple products make the world a better place. We should all embrace the maple.
No really though, I love maple. Whenever I visit Canada, I basically bring an empty suitcase so I can bring back all my maple foods. It’s a little ridiculous. I’ve also solicited friends that have gone to Canada to bring me back things (thanks Max and Lauren)!

Alright, recipe time! This is a really unique and simple recipe – I still can’t believe it worked out.
Ingredients:
- 3 salmon filets, frozen
- 1/4 cup maple syrup (none of that Aunt Jemima shit either – get 100% maple syrup)
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1/8 cup of soy sauce
- 1 teaspoons garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger, minced
What to do:
Put salmon filets in Crock Pot. Mix up the rest of the ingredients and pour over the salmon. Cook on high for 1-2 hours. This cooks FAST so check in often. Enjoy!
Review:
Love it! It smells pretty fishy, so not a great candidate to bring to work for lunch…unless you want to lose friends. It’s super tasty though. Feel free to add some maple syrup on top at the end… #addictedtomaple
